Join us Thursday evenings from 7-9pm for an intimate and gathering where Claire will gently lead you through a process art session while we sip herbal tea and craft together. Process art differs from product art in that there is no expected outcome or step by step process. You start where you want and see where your creativity takes you!
Claire has lived her life dabbling in crafts. Picking up a hobby here and there, learning just enough about various mediums to pass along to others. This is her way of sharing her love of all things crafting with her community. With beginner to intermediate knowledge of Collaging, Basketweaving, Embroidery and many more mediums, Claire aims to bring community together, unlock your inner artist and let your creativity flow.
This is a sign up/drop-in event. It is recommended to sign up in advance as there is limited space available, however there is no pressure! Try it once, or come back weekly. If anyone has space they wish to share or rent out for a larger “off-site” event, please feel to reach out. Additionally, if you are a maker or instructor who would be interested in leading a workshop, Please let us know! We would be happy to provide a space for you.
Materials provided by Claire include - watercolor sets and brushes, assorted paper, magazines, books, calligraphy/hand lettering tools, embroidery thread and hoops, sewing needles, glues/adhesives, how-to books and most importantly, positive energy and a welcoming attitude! We all have an artist inside of us, and it’s worth exploring!
While this is certainly a family friendly workshop, minimum age to attend is 12 with an accompanied adult.
